Janna is my sister. This piece came about through a challenge where everyone in my art quilt group contributed small items to a paper bag that each person had to use in a quilt. The stuff in the bag consisted of beads, string, cloth flowers and leaves, fabric, stencil crayons, appliqué letters, and felt. Adding all of those embellishments to the design enhanced the piece and created more interest and motion.
