A Local Landmark, The Palms Restaurant operated for many years until Covid shut it down for good. It was a Cook Your Own Steak place. They had music and dancing in the bar on weekends, and my parents used to go dancing there when I was young. It's sad to see it go. This quilt lives with Katie who also grew up in Carpinteria and now resides in Florida
